Great-Grandma Farmer's Dairy Farm!

In my last post I mentioned that we went out to the farm after trick-or-treating at the nursing home. The kids had so much fun at the farm! We really wish we lived closer, so they could visit more often! It is so fun for Daddy and Nana to see the kids explore the farm where Nana grew up! Sophie wasn't sure about the baby calf!

Brady and Emme weren't the least bit afraid!
Daddy and Max checkin' out the calf!

Max was ok until it sucked on his hand! :-)
Emme LOVED them!

Driving the tractor is Max's favorite thing about farmin'!
Brady had to drive too!

Hold on Brady!

Hangin' out on the hay bales!
Daddy showing the girls the baby kittens!

I think Emme is going to be a veterinarian when she grows up because she LOVES all animals! Such a sweet picture!

Halloween 2011....Better Late than Never!!! :-)

I just realized that it has been one month since Halloween, and I have yet to post anything on our blog! Our life seems to be getting much more chaotic now that we have busy 2 year olds! Better late than never...... :-)

The whole weekend of Halloween was a little crazy, but very fun-filled this year! On Saturday, we loaded the kids up, and headed to Lansing to see Great-Grandma "Farmer" in the nursing home! We took the kids' Halloween costumes, and did a little trick-or-treating while we were there! The kids had a blast, and I think Great-Grandma "Farmer" was pretty surprised to see them!

After the nursing home, we headed out to the farm for some more fun (pictures will be in next post)!

Monday (the 31st) we took the kids trick-or-treating in Clear Lake for the first time! We only went to a few houses in Great-Grandma Mick and Great-Grandpa Lee's neighborhood, but the kids had so much fun! I think the adults were just as exhausted as the kids when it was all over with!

(L to R: Brady the duck, Sophie the sheep, Max the cow, Emme the pig, and Great-Grandma "Farmer")

Everyone worked up an appetite after all that hard work!

They made out very well for their first year of trick-or-treating! :-)

We are 2!!!!!!

Wow! I have always listened to my parents say how fast the time goes as you get older, but I had NO idea how fast it truly does go until having children of my own! Our sweet kiddos are 2 today, and we really couldn't be more blessed!

Happy 2nd Birthday Sophie, Emme, Max, and Brady! Mommy and Daddy love you more than you will ever know, and are so thankful that we were chosen to be your parents!(L to R) Sophie, Max, Emme, Brady

I promise I will be better about blogging soon! I still haven't posted about Halloween! :-)
