On December 31, 2009, we took our two handsome little boys home with us! We were so excited that we were getting so close to having our whole family together at home! It was also a scary time for us as well since Brady came home on oxygen. What a blessed year 2010 has been for us! Happy New Year!
Our family minus Sophie.
Sweet Brady today! Wild Max today(getting into trouble as usual)! Our big boys!
I hope everyone had a very blessed Christmas! I wanted to write a blog post on Sunday when we got home from Mason City/Clear Lake, however, I knew it would take me FOREVER to upload all the pictures I took. I guess I got a little carried away! :-)
We had an amazing weekend with our family, and are so incredibly blessed! It was so much fun to watch our little miracle babies, who were so tiny and fragile last year at this time, rip into their presents/eat the paper! They had a BIG weekend, but did really well.
We were so excited that the pediatrician gave us the OK to start taking them out into public more, which meant we could actually go to church on Christmas eve as a family. It has always been a tradition on my side of the family to go to church on Christmas eve as a family, and then head over to my grandparents to open gifts. This year, we weren't sure how smoothly that would go, but thought we'd give it a try. The babies did great! In fact, after the service was over, a lady sitting behind me said, "Wow! Those are the best behaved babies! I never thought you would make it until the end, but they were so well behaved!" I think they were in awe of all the lights and music. They were also fascinated with the candles at the end. Of course, we made sure nobody sitting near the babies had candles.....just in case!
After church we went to my grandparent's house to open gift/eat, and then back to James' parent's house to open more gifts. Everyone did great, but poor Brady got a bit tired. He slept during our gift opening at Nana and Papa's house until the end, when he got his second wind. Christmas morning, we opened more gifts from Santa and had a yummy turkey dinner!
I apologize for all the pictures, but I couldn't seem to eliminate any. They are all so cute, and so many fun memories were made! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Also- we would really appreciate it if you would say a prayer for James' grandma Dotzler. She had a heart attack over the weekend, and is not doing well.
